Real Estate Agent Commission in Nigeria: What to Expect
The agency fee on a sale with Mansa Luxe is always 5% of the sale price. What changes is how that fee is shared when a partner agent brings the buyer: 5% to the agent on homes owned directly by MR DGN Developers, and 3% on properties we list for other owners, with Mansa Luxe keeping 2%.

The introducing agent earns 3%; Mansa Luxe keeps 2% for connecting the parties.

Register the buyer before inspection so attribution is clear.
How the split works
MR DGN Developers builds homes in Abuja and Mansa Luxe sells them, and we also list properties for other owners and agents. The agency fee is the same 5% either way, but the partner agent's share is different.
- Homes owned directly by MR DGN Developers: the agent who brings the buyer earns the full 5%, guaranteed and paid on completion.
- Properties listed with us by other owners or agents: the introducing agent earns 3% and Mansa Luxe keeps 2% for connecting the parties.
- Register your buyer with us before the first inspection so the introduction is credited to you.
What buyers should ask any agent
Commission confusion damages trust. Before a deal moves far, get clear answers in writing.
- Who is representing the seller, and who is representing me?
- What agency fee applies, and when is it paid?
- Is it written into the agreement?
- Is the agent telling me to use my own property lawyer?
Agency fee is not the only cost
