What we do for an owner

Owning a house in Abuja while you live somewhere else is hard to do well from a distance. We act for the owner: we look after the property, and when the owner wants to let it or sell it, we find the tenant or the buyer.

• Management of the property for its owner, including owners abroad
• Finding a tenant: our fee is 5% of the first year's rent, and the tenant pays it
• Finding a buyer: the agency fee on a sale is 5%
• Marketing we pay for when the property is sold: website, video, paid ads and Instagram

An example: the Guzape house

The five-bedroom fully detached duplex in Guzape is managed by us for an outside owner and is listed for sale at an asking price of ₦900,000,000. A 5% agency fee applies to the sale, and the buyer does not pay it.

Fees

The management fee depends on the property, so we quote it on request. The letting and sales fees are fixed: 5% of the first year's rent for a letting, paid by the tenant, and a 5% agency fee on a sale.
